Onboarding Journey

Set profile picture :

• Functionality: The copy makes it clear and fairly straightforward. Users can intuitively understand that they can:
  • Change the background colour by tapping on the three coloured circles (There is no indication of what the background colour is used for within the app)
  • Set a profile picture by tapping the camera icon
• First Impressions: The purpose of the background colour selection is not clear. It would be helpful to add a label or tooltip that explains what it is used for/ or not have it at all?
• Content: The text on the screen is concise and easy to read
• Accessibility: Flashing colour could be distracting for some users
• Additional Considerations:
  • Explain the purpose of the background colour: Add a label that explains what the background colour is used for (is it the theme??)
  • More avatar options: Could not find one that represents them (Add a basic ones with less personality? )
  • Include a skip button: Allow users to skip the profile picture selection process if they want to get started using the app right away
